From Waste to Wonderful: Flowers
Look at these wonderful flowers made by Czechoslovakian artist Veronica Richerterová. Can you see what the flowers are made from ?
You can do this too!
All you need is:
Plastic bottles.
String.
Scissors.
You can paint the bottles before you start but make sure you use water based paints.
Instructions:
1. Cut off the base of your bottles.
2. Cut up from the base of the bottle to the top of the bottle to make the shape of flower petals. You can make these long, short, thin or fat. You can twist them and curl them.
3. String them together and hang them up. It’s easy! You can add leaves to the string.
